private lessons
Bay Sailing offers private lessons in both sail and power- boats. Get professional and personal instruction to help you become more competent on the water. We specialize in navigation, boat handling, seamanship, racing (with spinnakers) and rigging. We will focus on the areas you choose.
Private lessons costs: $100/person - 2 hours (additional person - $50. each)
Bay Island has a wide variety of boats from 17'- 37' to use for the lessons. Please call to check availability.

Navigation Course
Bay Sailing School is pleased to be offering the American Sailing Association (A.S.A.) Coastal Navigation class next summer. This is a one day class, 9:00- 5:00, offered June- September. The cost is $200/person and includes the ASA Certification, text, charts, folio, dividers, parallel rules, pencils, and t-shirt. The purpose of this course is to enable boaters to achieve a high level of navigational expertise. Upon completion, you will be able to safely navigate a sailing or power driven vessel in coastal or inland waters. This class is hands-on, and students will have the opportunity to practice their skills on the water.
